Aihaiti KASIMU, Junran DONG, Yuan BIAN, Desheng WU

Frontiers of Engineering Management   Pages 696-696 doi: 10.1007/s42524-019-0060-1

Abstract: Numerous oil spill fate and trajectory models have been recently developed to predict oil spill weatheringHowever, these models separately predicted the fate of spilled oil and the change in oil properties.Oil evaporation is the most important process and removes most of the spilled oil from sea surface.fate of oil and changes in oil properties.Simulation results of oil properties and fates are also presented in this study.

Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering 2015, Volume 9, Issue 1,   Pages 64-76 doi: 10.1007/s11705-015-1504-8

Abstract: Canola oil and light cycle oil (LCO) blends were co-hydrotreated over a commercial hydrotreating catalystfeedstocks tested in the temperature range of 350–380 °C with a hydrogen pressure of 7 MPa and a gas/oilconversion of the 360 °C+ materials in the feedstocks increased by 5% and 15% when 5 and 7.5 wt-% canola oilthe higher hydrogen requirement to crack and deoxygenate the triglycerides contained in the canola oil, a higher hydrogen consumption was needed to hydrotreat the canola oil-LCO blends.
